Minolta Vectis accessories

Shown above you can see five accessories especially created for the Minolta APS slr system. From top left to right we have: the Vectis shoulderbag, which holds a body, a few lenses and a flash. A small bag of doubtful quality.

One picture to the right there's the CS-V1, a small neoprene bag to hold the body and a zoom lens. Next to it is the Vectis flash SF-1. The flash is quite simple, with a guide number of 20 (m). Drawback is that it uses 2 CR2 batteries. It can be used on other Minolta AF cameras though. So on a 9xi it could work as a nice and tiny fill-in flash.

In the top right picture you can see the CG-S1 metal camera guard for the S1. A peculiar accessory. It only works for the smaller lenses. A 25-150 mm would protrude too far out and wouldn't be protected if the camera was dropped. Furthermore handling of the camera becomes less convenient, and at last I doubt the protective value of this piece. Quite a useless accesory.

The last photo bottom left shows the batterypack BP-S1 for the S1. It holds AA batteries, that's good. Besides that there's nothing to rave about. It's a flimsy plastic accessory.

Not in my collection are the neoprene camera cases CS V2 and CS V3.

There also was a Minolta Photo Player VP-1. With this player one could watch photos on a TV set directly from the APS fim roll.
